Ruby has certainly had her unfair share of sad circumstances. Her owner died, the owner's family couldn't take care of her and were planning on taking her to the pound. A volunteer came forward to take Ruby but it wasn't long before a sad situation occurred again.......the owner lost her home. Ruby and three other pets were abandoned with no place to go.
Somehow a kind lady named Melody heard about these abandoned pets and opened her doors. Through Doberman Assistance Netork, she found a wonderful Doberman rescue group, Illinois Doberman Rescue, who accepted Ruby into their program. How to get Ruby from MO to NE Illinois was the only question left to be answered.
Jeff, with his young daughter as his co-pilot, gave Ruby the flight of her life, literally! Doberman Assistance Network, Illinois Doberman Rescue and of course Melody would like to thank you both very much! Without your generosity, Ruby would not have her third chance so THANK YOU !!!
