I realize our Pilots-N-Paws pilots are usually in need of AVgas rather then jet fuel but this is another extremely generous offer that was sent to me this morning and I was given permission to post to the group.
Aircrest Group, an independent FBO in Long Beach, CA will provide Jet Fuel ONLY at 50 cents over cost to PnP flights. Long Beach is an easy alternative for congested Los Angeles airports. No Avgas available at Aircrest Group, and transient pilots should contact us prior to arrival-- (private facility)(949) 637-6070
If, by chance, any of you have a jet and need fuel please call ahead since this is a private facility and the manager would be more then happy to meet you there.
Thank you Aircrest Group, for promoting Pilots-N-Paws and helping us out by spreading the word and for your kind offer. Wouldn't it be great if we could find a pilot with a jet to do a cross country run with a plane full of rescue animals headed to their new homes? You never know, it just might happen!
