How will the Garmin 430/530 recognize when the pilot has reached 5000 feet and thus the course reversal should begin?

The GPS will go into waypoint "Suspend" mode when climing outbound on the 350 radial.  The letters "SUSP" will appear above the OBS button.  When reaching 5000 feet you must manually press the OBS button in oder to resume waypoint sequencing and proceed inbound on the 350 radial.
