Hello,

Pamala and Norm Saunders here. We are trying desperately to rescue "Sophie" a sweet English Cocker who spent the first four years of her life in a cage 24 hours a day! We adopted another English Cocker 5 years ago in a similar situation and she has made remarkable advances. We are sensitive, loving people who understand the Cocker mindset and personality. This little girl can't be transported by pet transport because she can't be crated and if we had the money to get back to Ohio ourselves we would. She needs a home like ours to make a full recovery as best she can. The Starmar rescue won't allow the dog to be transported in a crate for obvious reasons and we were hoping someone out there could help us on our plight! Norm and I would be happy to pay some of the costs incurred. We live in eyeshot of our local airport in Fallon, NV and Fallon Naval Air Station is about 4 miles from our house. Starmar Rescue said they would be willing to drive Sophie to the nearest airport there or even 3 hours away to Wright Patterson AFB! We want to help this little girl have a beautiful life for the rest of her years. Our email is sterlingpoint@oasisol.com and our home phone 775-423-3685, cell phone 775-881-8972 or 775-881-8973. Also Martha Leary from Starmar Rescue in Ohio is LearyMJR@aol.com her phone is 330-262-0515 and her cell is 330-466-3667. I believe in miracles and I believe someone out there can help us, help this sweet little girl! Thankyou so much!! We're waiting to hear from you!
