I read some articles on this and really found it shocking. I've sent out a few emails and put up flyers around my school, but I thought I would share it. Please, help out the animals and boycott the 2008 Olympics!
Most people (Myself included until now) watch the Olympics every year it is hosted without thinking about it. For all you animal lovers out there, however, and even if you aren't an animal lover, it might be time to rethink.
As you probably know, they are being held in Beijing, a very popular city with many stray animals. In attempt to "clean up" the city, they have been killing thousands of cats. They are taken to "death camps" where they are kept with no food, water, shelter, or health care.
Please help stop this cruelty and boycott the 2008 Bejing Olympics, send this on to all your friends, and visit these sites for more info:
